Coca- Cola Company Screencast

The Coca- Cola Company began in the year 1886, where it made its official debut in Atlanta, Ga. John Pemberton; an Atlanta pharmacist was inspired to make this beverage by simple curiosity. This simple concoction of its time was later named Coca-Cola by Pemberton’s bookkeeper. From Atlanta the beverage took the nation by storm and later the world. Now well into its second century, Coca-Cola has grown to the world’s most ubiquitous brand, with more than 1.7 billion beverage servings sold each day.
Coca- Cola Company has grown to use more social media throughout the last decade; with the interest placed on social media outlooks such as Twitter, Flickr, YouTube and Facebook. Social Media Strategy, No. 1 in Social Media Marketing
The company is trying to find a way of keeping track of the actual viewership from the target audiences through the assistance of another company. Social Maturity, Seeking Help, Tracking Social Sales

I believe that if the company keeps using social media to gain access to its public through forms such as Facebook and Twitter that eventually the use of regular media will soon time out. The future of this company seems to generate a sense of success by staying \with the times and embracing the movement of its target audiences attention.

Facebook Page

Fixed Naval Page My facebook page was on the Naval System in the United States. It is basically a calling for citizens to join. The picture i chose was one of a naval aircraft (fighter plane) to peak the interest of those interested in air crafts. The real purpose behind this photo is to illustrate that the Navy does have a piloting program which many people only associate with the Air Force. The page is very simple but the basic information is there for the average person to understand.

My Favorite Video On Youtube

This video is significant to me because even on my worse of days I am able to view this video and still smile. Although the content is stereotypical of the cultures they are trying to portray, the video still provides an amount of humor that will bring a smile if not a laugh to most. The fact that these are two caucasian babies makes it even funnier, and the voices match up perfectly with the toddlers actions.

Website Preference

My favorite website is the twitter website. although this may not be a website particularly for blogging but this is a form of miniature blogging. A blog is simply a way to express your feeling which is exactly what twitter is used for. This website allows one to stay in contact with several people and allows others to quickly find out information on their friends.

Simply Me

Hi, my name is Anthony Wright. I am a Mass Communications major at the University of West Georgia, in my senior year. I will graduate this Fall semester in December 2011with the passing of my last four classes. I was born in Washington, D.C. and was raised most of my childhood in Fort Washington, MD. My family moved down here when i was in middle school from there I went to Fayette Country high School where I graduated. I have plans to depart for the United States Navy in the Spring 2012, I will be sworn in this upcoming September. Here recently I have joined a intramural flag football team titled" Real Deal" and we have plans to go to state and bring UWG a trophy.

The most commonly used social media application in my opinion is twitter. This section of social media allows several people to share their thoughts and to get feedback from a large peer group. Social media of the past would be something as small as television, it was once the prominent way for a mass population to receive information.
